Construction of film city in Noida to start in January 2022: UP government
Construction of the proposed film city in Noida is likely to start in January 2022, state government officials said. The 1,000-acre film city will come up in Sector 21 of Gautam Buddha Nagar’s Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority area. The film city, a pet project of UP CM Yogi Adityanath, will be constructed at an estimated cost of ₹6,000 crore.

Ed Asner, who voiced the character of Carl Fredricksen in the animated film ‘Up’, passed away on Sunday aged 91, his family said. The seven-time Emmy-winning actor is also known for playing Lou Grant in the 1970s show ‘The Mary Tyler Moore Show’ and its spin-off series ‘Lou Grant’. “Devastated to hear this news,” ‘Cobra Kai’ co-star William Zabka tweeted.
