Hollywood actor Christian Slater, who starred with actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas in the film ‘We Can Be Heroes’, said, “I love India. The [Indian] film industry…is a bit of a mystery to me…the films that I’ve seen have been remarkable.” Commenting on his bond with Priyanka, Christian added, “She [Priyanka] is a dear friend…and somebody I respect…and truly admire.”

New ‘Expendables’ movie in works with Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham

A new ‘Expendables’ movie is in the works with Hollywood actors Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham. The actors will reprise their roles as mercenaries and will carry out new missions in the upcoming fourth installment of the ‘Expendables’ franchise. In addition to Sylvester and Jason, the movie will also star 50 Cent, Megan Fox and Tony Jaa.

Director Ahmed Khan gifts wife a limited edition ‘batmobile’; wife shares video

Director Ahmed Khan, who worked on films like ‘Lakeer’ and ‘Baaghi 3’ gifted his wife Shaira Ahmed Khan a limited edition ‘Batmobile’ that’s modelled after the Keaton Batmobile from 1989. Khan gifted the car to Shaira on the occasion of her birthday. Shaira shared pictures and a video of the car on Instagram, and called it “a dream come true”.

Tollywood director Puri Jagannadh appears before ED in drug racket probe

Tollywood director Puri Jagannadh on Tuesday appeared before the Enforcement Directorate in Hyderabad as part of an investigation in a money-laundering probe linked to a drug racket. The ED has also asked actors Rakul Preet Singh, Rana Daggubati, Ravi Teja, Charmme Kaur, Navdeep and Mumait Khan to appear before it between August 31 and September 22 as part of the probe.

Jacqueline Fernandez was one of the victims of ₹200-crore money laundering racket: Reports

Actress Jacqueline Fernandez was one of the many victims in the ₹200-crore money laundering racket carried out by Sukesh Chandrashekhar from jail, reports said. Jacqueline was questioned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for hours on Monday in connection with the case. The ED last week raided some of Sukesh’s premises and seized a sea-facing bungalow in Chennai.
