Background and Education
Rishabh, a resident of the village Ratti in the Balh subdivision of Mandi district, has brought great honor to his village and district. He began his education at Bloom Buds School in Nerchowk and later attended Indus Global Public School in Mandi. Rishabh achieved 98% in his CBSE 10th grade board exams from Mahavir Public School in Sundernagar. He then joined St. Francis Xavier Senior Secondary School in Bagla Mandi, passing the 12th grade with 96% marks and securing the 11th position in the state board exams.
Family and Motivation
Rishabh’s father, Sanjeev Puri, is a teacher, while his mother, Dr. Rozola, works at BRC Balh. Speaking to TNR, Rishabh credited his success to his parents, his teachers up to the 12th grade, and his well-wishers who supported him throughout his journey. He expressed his desire to become a cardiologist and pursue his MBBS in this field. Rishabh also shared his aspiration to provide free medical services to the poor and needy. “I wish to work in remote areas of the state and provide the best medical care to the people residing there,” he said.
Dedication and Study Habits
Rishabh’s parents revealed that he achieved this milestone without any coaching, studying regularly for 5-6 hours daily. “He believes that any young person can achieve their goal if they pursue it with true dedication.” His achievement has brought immense joy to his family, well-wishers, and the local community.
