Dharamshala: The Rotary Club of Dharamshala recently organized a programme on mental health at Guru Dronacharya Nursing College in Yol, under the leadership of Chief Medical Officer Dr Rajesh Guleri.
During the event, Dr Guleri provided students with comprehensive information about mental health and mental illnesses, as well as strategies for prevention.
Jyoti Sharma, a psychologist from the Dharamshala Zonal Hospital, emphasized the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle to stay away from substance abuse. She advised incorporating daily yoga practice and consuming fresh foods for overall well-being. She stressed the significance of cultivating clean thoughts for a healthy mindset.
The programme was attended by district programme officer Dr Tarun Sood, BMO Nagrota Bagwan, Dr Ruby Bhardwaj, and members of the Rotary Club.
