Dharamshala: Members of Jan Chetna Dharamshala gathered on Tuesday at Hotel Kunal to pay heartfelt tribute on the occasion of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s birth anniversary. Led by Dr Harpal Singh, former president, and Dr Anjan Kalia, the gathering commemorated the Parakram Diwas, honouring the legendary freedom fighter, profound thinker, and former president of the Indian National Congress, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.
Expressing gratitude and deep respect, the community suggested renaming Dharamshala’s Police Ground, as Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Stadium, with a statue in front of KCC Bank and renaming College Road as Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Marg. A proposal copy is being forwarded to the relevant departments and the government for consideration.
