Programmes organised at Tang-Narwana, Kasba-Narwana and Kaned schools

Dharamshala: “SWEEP” activities related to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and bypoll to six Assembly constituencies in Himachal Pradesh were organised in various schools of Dharamshala. Under the programme, voters were called upon through a rally, poster-making and painting to ensure their participation in the elections.
A voter awareness rally was organised at the government senior secondary schools at Tang Narwana, Kaned and Kasba-Narwana. Children took out the rally in the market and made paintings and posters to spread voter awareness. Slogans for voter awareness were also raised.
Government Senior Secondary Section, Kasba-Narwana, Principal Bhanu Katoch said that as per departmental instructions, a rally was taken out in the market in which NSS children participated and urged the voters to go to polling stations without any discrimination in the upcoming elections and cast their vote so that India’s democracy could be strengthened.
Government Senior Secondary School, Kaned, Principal Vineet Pankaj also addressed the children and gave the message of voter awareness. Teachers Shubhakaran, Bansi Lal, Rajeev, Sandeep, Archana, Sanjay Dhiman, Dinesh Kumar, Devendra Rana and Raj Kumar were present on the occasion.
