Dharamshala Carnival’s ‘Voice of Dhauladhar’ Auditions Set for February 18th

Dharamshala, January 13, 2023 – Cabinet Rank Raghuvir Singh Bali, President of the Tourism Development Corporation, unveiled the promotional poster for the HP Tourism Dharamshala Spring Carnival in Nagrota Bagwa on Tuesday. District Tourism Officer Vinay Dheeman was also present at the event.
Bali, emphasizing the importance of community participation, urged residents from Kangra district and surrounding areas to join in the festivities of the carnival.
“The aim of organizing the HP Tourism Dharamshala Spring Carnival is to promote tourism in the region,” said Bali, highlighting the department’s continuous efforts to boost tourism. He announced that the carnival would be held from February 25 to 29 in Dharamshala.
Bali stated, “Kangra district is being developed as the tourism capital. We are committed to fulfilling the promises made, unlike the false assurances made by the previous government.”
During the Dharamshala Spring Carnival, Bali announced that five-star nights would entertain tourists and locals alike, featuring performances by renowned artists.
Additionally, the carnival will host the “Voice of Dhauladhar” singing competition, with auditions scheduled for February 18 at the Dharamshala College Auditorium. For the first time, a Brass Band Contest will also be organized.
Other attractions during the carnival include a food festival, exhibitions of Himachali art, a cultural gala, and a traditional fashion show.
