The ‘Dev Mahakumbh’ which marks the international Kullu Dussehra celebrations will be held in the state despite the ongoing pandemic. However, strict rules and guidelines have been laid down for people entering Himachal from other states to witness the ‘Maha Kumbh’ of Gods and Goddesses. These visitors will have to produce a Covid negative report as well as a certificate of both doses of vaccine, for which they will have to first register on the Covid e-registration software.
More than 300 dieties will be showcased in this festival, which is normally participated by thousands of people across India and abroad. The Kullu district administration has prepared an action plan to ensure strict adherence to the Covid protocol. People from other states will also be monitored by means of a covid e-pass. No fair or cultural programs will be held for the second consecutive year due to the pandemic.
