Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur was presented a cheque of Rs 10 lakh from The Dalai Lama Trust towards the Chief Minister Relief Fund.
Wangyal Lama from Chief Representative Office of The Dalai Lama Trust in Shimla presented the cheque to the Chief Minister in Shimla on Thursday.
The Chief Minister thanked the Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama for the noble gesture and said that such contributions went a long way in helping the needy people at the time of distress.
