DHARAMSHALA: A cook employed at a private hotel allegedly attacked a female colleague with a knife in McLeodganj, a popular tourist destination near Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh’s Kangra district.
The injured woman, originally from Arunachal Pradesh, was initially treated at the Dharamshala hospital before being transferred to Tanda Medical College.
The accused, a young man from Bihar, was arrested by the police, who responded promptly to the scene. The exact cause of the dispute between the two employees is still under investigation as the victim is currently unable to provide a statement due to her condition.
A senior police official confirmed the incident saying the matter was under investigation. He said the accused was in custody.
