Chief Minister to Review High Court Orders Before DGP Transfer Decision
Shimla: In the ongoing controversy surrounding the Director General of Police (DGP) case, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has announced that the government will make a decision after reviewing the orders of the High Court.
The Chief Minister, who returned from Delhi, stated that he was yet to read the court’s directives as he was out of the state when they were issued. A comprehensive evaluation will be conducted before reaching a decision, he assured.
Addressing political matters, the Chief Minister shared insights from the Congress strategy committee meeting in Delhi, focusing on discussions related to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
He emphasized the need to identify potential winning candidates from Himachal Pradesh based on the prevailing circumstances.
Shifting attention to state affairs, Sukhoo expressed readiness for the upcoming tourist season in Himachal Pradesh, assuring that the state is fully prepared to welcome visitors.
