CBSE 10th results 2024: 93.60% students clear CBSE Class 10 exam, girls surpass boys by 2%

The Central Board of Secondary Education on Monday (May 13, 2024) declared the CBSE 10th results 2024, with 93.60 per cent of the students clearing the examination.
Girls outshone boys in the CBSE 10th results with a pass rate of 94.75%, surpassing their male counterparts by 2.04 percentage points. A remarkable 47,000 students scored above 95 per cent while over 2 lakh students achieved scores exceeding 90 per cent.

Students can check their outcomes on the board’s official websites and the DigiLocker platform. This year’s CBSE Class 10 examinations were conducted across 7,603 centres nationwide, involving 25,724 schools.

The Trivandrum region exhibited the highest pass rate in the CBSE 10th results, boasting an exceptional 99.75 per cent while Guwahati recorded the lowest at 77.94 per cent. The Delhi region witnessed an impressive overall pass percentage of 98.61 per cent.

Earlier on Monday, the CBSE declared the results for the Class 12 board exams, with 87.98 per cent of the students clearing the examination, which was 0.65 per cent increase in pass percentage compared to the previous year.

How schools can access results in DigiLocker in 5 steps
1. Visit cbse.digitallocker.gov.in/public/auth/login
2. Log in with the LOC credentials
3. Choose ‘Login as School’ from the dropdown menu
4. Click on ‘Download Access Code file’
5. Select the appropriate Access Code for either Class 10 or Class 12 and share it securely with individual students

How students can access results in DigiLocker in 8 simple steps:
1. Go to cbseservices.digilocker.gov.in/activatecbse
2. Click ‘Get Started with Account Confirmation’
3. Select your class: either 10 or 12
4. Enter your school code, roll number and the 6-digit access code provided by your school, click ‘Next’
5. Input your 10-digit mobile number, click ‘Submit’
6. Enter your ‘Date of Birth’ (only for Class 12)
7. An OTP will be sent to your mobile number; enter the OTP received and click ‘Submit’
8. Your DigiLocker account will be activated and you can view your result in the ‘Issued Documents Section’
