Press conference by detractors
In a press conference held on Wednesday at Dharamshala, Ranveer Singh Nikka disclosed that the minister’s son had done cash transactions in the bank which are suspicious and falls under abnormal loan recovery.
He said that the minister’s son had purchased a vehicle for which a loan of Rs 13 lakh was taken but the same was repaid in cash within months. Even before the loan was not repaid in one bank, the same vehicle, purchased by the minister’s son, was sold to one of his friends and again a loan was raised on the same vehicle by forging documents.
“I call upon government agencies to act in this case within 48 hours or else we will move to the high court in this regard. People should know about the flow of cash and the reason behind forging the documents,” he added.
He said that a written complaint in this regard will be filed with income tax officials.
Ranveer Singh said: “We have filed an RTI with the bank officials and are waiting for the details after which we will file a detailed complaint with the IT department seeking detailed investigations in this case”.

When contacted Bhawani Pathania, son of minister Rakesh Pathania said that he had given proper amount to the bank for closure of loan case and “will file a defamation case against those who are leveling baseless allegations against me and my father”.
