ED freezes ₹700-crore shares of Karvy Stock Broking group after raids in Hyderabad

Notably, Parthasarathy was arrested last month over defaulting on a bank loan.

Tata Group largest wealth creator for investors in 2021, RIL second


Tata Group is the largest wealth creator for shareholders so far in 2021, as per Sharekhan BNP Paribas’ data. Tata’s 28 listed entities added ₹6.6 lakh crore wealth for investors since January 2021, a return of 40%, the report said. Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries’ (RIL) nine listed firms added nearly ₹4 lakh crore, making it the second-largest wealth creator.


Ford India head Mehrotra quits after firm decides to stop making cars in India

Ford Motor Co’s India head Anurag Mehrotra has quit the company, days after the US automaker said it would stop making cars in India, taking a hit of $2 billion. Mehrotra is leaving to pursue other career opportunities, a company spokesperson said. September 30 will be Mehrotra’s last day with the company, as per reports.
