Scare commuters in Karelnu locality of this famous tourist destination in Himachal’s Chamba dist

Commuters, particularly pedestrians, faced a real scare when they came across black bears on the road in broad daylight in the Karelnu area of Himachal’s famous tourist destination Dalhousie in the Chamba district.
Two bears were seen roaming around by people walking on the road. People ran helter-skelter to save their lives.
Dalhousie is a wildlife sanctuary and many black bears dwell in the forests here, particularly in the area around Kala Top. Bear attacks are normal in this area but due to the current maize season, bears start turning to fields and residential areas even in the daylight to munch on one of their favourite food.
