Dharamshala: The BJP has been accused of resorting to misuse of power and voter fraud to gain control of power. The accusation was levelled by main spokesperson of Himachal Congress Prem Kaushal.
He pointed out instances of misuse of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) by the BJP.
Kaushal stated that the recent mayoral elections in Chandigarh revealed the extent to which the BJP could stoop to acquire power.
He highlighted that the BJP is solely driven by the desire for power and is willing to go to any lengths to achieve it.
Kaushal criticized the BJP for considering itself above democracy, citing attempts to undermine the judiciary by passing laws in Parliament against court rulings.
He launched a scathing attack on BJP leaders in the state, questioning their claims of providing substantial funds from the central government. He argued that routine projects allocated to every state by the central government are being falsely attributed solely to the BJP’s efforts.
