Mandi – BJP National President JP Nadda is set to be accorded a grand welcome by party members upon his visit to Mandi. Following the BJP’s significant victories in the elections of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan, Nadda is making his first visit to Himachal Pradesh, sparking widespread enthusiasm among BJP supporters nationwide.
According to BJP State Spokesperson Rakesh Jamwal, JP Nadda will inaugurate the Sundarnagar BJP office and provide guidance to party workers. The event is scheduled to commence at 12:30 PM, preceded by a felicitation program and roadshow from 12:00 to 1:00 PM in Sundarnagar. At 1:15 PM, Nadda will inaugurate the newly constructed BJP office in Sundarnagar district, with several prominent BJP leaders in attendance.
Later, Nadda will travel from Sundarnagar to Mandi, participating in the Developed India Resolve Yatra program alongside Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The procession is set to take place from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Following this, Nadda will depart for Kullu at 5:30 PM.
Nihal Chand Sharma, BJP District President in Mandi, highlighted Nadda’s consistent efforts in presenting Himachal’s issues to the Central Government. Due to Nadda’s advocacy, Himachal Pradesh has received substantial financial assistance, including 663.73 crores, for various development projects. The Central Government’s allocation of funds for MGNREGA, PM Awas Yojana, disaster response, and infrastructure development underscores their commitment to supporting the state.
Sharma also noted the state BJP’s planned welcome for JP Nadda, Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, and Anurag Thakur, featuring around 200 motorcycles as part of the reception.
