Denounces remarks against party’s Mandi LS candidate

Mandi: BJP took out a rally in Himachal’s Mandi town to condemn derogatory comment aimed at party’s Mandi LS seat, Kangana Ranaut.
Thakur asserted, “This isn’t just an affront to Kangana, but to the entire state and nation.” Mandi residents stand united in solidarity with their daughter, poised to deliver a resounding rebuke to Congress. In response to the disparaging remarks, a formal complaint has been filed with the Election Commission via the Women’s Commission, demanding swift action.
Thakur also addressed dissident voices within BJP, acknowledging the natural tensions that arise during election seasons, assuring resolution through dialogue.
Attending the rally were key figures including Mandi parliamentary area in charge and former minister Govind Singh Thakur, BJP candidate Kangana Ranaut’s father Amardeep Singh Ranaut, alongside various BJP MLAs, district presidents, and senior officials.
