Solan : In a recent gathering of BJP party members in Solan, Himachal Pradesh, prominent BJP leader Dr. Rajiv Bindal criticized the Indian National Congress party, accusing it of aligning with forces aiming to undermine Hinduism and its values. Dr. Bindal, who serves as the Pradesh Adhyaksh (State President) of the BJP, made these remarks during a significant meeting of BJP workers.
During his address, Dr. Bindal expressed concern over what he perceived as Congress’s willingness to form alliances with parties that hold an anti-Hindu stance in their quest for political power. He emphasized that Congress, once a party with a nationwide presence and governments in numerous states, has seen a decline in its influence.
“Congress, which was once a party that spoke for the nation, with leaders like Lalaji Lajpat Rai, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Vipin Chandra Pal, and Mahatma Gandhi, has now become a family-centric party,” Dr. Bindal stated. He lamented that Congress seemed to be aligning itself with parties determined to eliminate the practice of Sanatan Dharma (Hinduism), which is deeply rooted in India’s cultural and spiritual heritage.
Dr. Bindal urged the Congress party to reflect on its current state, characterized by a leadership vacuum, dynastic politics, and a negative outlook towards the Indian nation. He asserted that such a trajectory would only lead Congress to its downfall.
In a stark criticism, Dr. Bindal claimed that Congress has shifted its love from India to disdain, asserting that the world’s oldest civilization, India, is no longer appealing to the party. He recalled the words of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, who once famously proclaimed, “India is Indira, and Indira is India,” but was eventually ousted from power by the Indian electorate.
Regarding the opposition to Sanatan Dharma, Dr. Bindal pointed out that several powerful nations worldwide had attempted to undermine it in the past, but none had succeeded. He questioned the credibility of this alliance’s ability to challenge the core values of Hinduism.
In conclusion, Dr. Bindal’s strong critique of the Indian National Congress painted a picture of a party in decline, grappling with leadership issues, dynastic politics, and an alleged alignment with forces hostile to Hinduism. The BJP leader’s remarks shed light on the ongoing political discourse in India, where ideological differences remain a significant point of contention among political parties.
