Dharamshala: The Bhagini Nivedita Study Centre, affiliated with the Central University of Himachal Pradesh in Dharamshala, recently hosted a symposium on the subjects of Ram and Ramayana.
The main speaker for the event was reviewer and columnist Dr Mahendra Thakur.
Coordinator Ankur Koundal mentioned that the Study Center regularly conducts symposiums and programs on topics related to education and the nation.
Dr Thakur, during his keynote address, highlighted the significance of the book “Mai Ramvanshi Hoon,” authored by Manoj Singh and edited by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. The book emphasizes the concept of Ramvanshi, individuals dedicated to the principles of Ram, enriched with cultural values, and guided by principles of both weaponry and knowledge. Dr Thakur mentioned the revolutionary aspect of cultural transformation discussed in the book. The program not only celebrated the virtues of Lord Ram but also shed light on his life through the medium of this enlightening publication.
