The Supreme Court has said it’s not satisfied with the steps taken by UP government in the investigation of the Lakhimpur Kheri violence which left nine dead. SC said it expected the state government to behave responsibly as the allegations are very serious, including gunshot injuries. It asked the state to suggest an alternative agency that can conduct the probe.
