The Juvenile Justice Board has rejected the bail plea of three minor accused named in the Dalit youth Manohar’s murder case of Bhandal panchayat of Salooni sub-division.
The bail petition of the minor accused was put up for hearing in the Juvenile Justice Board on behalf of the Remand Council.
A reply was filed on behalf of the police department on this bail plea. The Board has rejected the bail plea of the minor accused after hearing the case.
In the Manohar murder case, the police had made three adults and three minors accused. Three adults arrested in this murder case are currently lodged in District Jail Rajpura due to judicial custody, while minors have been sent to Child Reform Home Una.
Meanwhile, the bail petition of the minor accused had been filed by the Remand Council in the Juvenile Justice Board, Chamba. On June 28 and 29, the hearing on the bail plea filed by the Remand Council took place. During this, the advocate on behalf of the Police Department also represented the case in the Board. On Saturday, the judge of the Juvenile Justice Board, while giving his verdict on the bail plea, issued orders to dismiss it.
