Mandi: Bollywood actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut, while attending the closing ceremony of the eight-day Nalwar Mela in Khyoḍ, Gohar subdivision of Mandi district, shared insights into her early life. Addressing the media, she stated, “At an age when girls were busy writing love letters, I was writing scripts for the film industry.” Kangana joined the film world at just 15 years old, and she claimed that her early involvement deprived her of a typical childhood experience.
Sonia Gandhi’s Children Are Still Living Their Childhood in Old Age
Kangana also took a swipe at the Congress leadership, saying, “While I never had the chance to live my childhood properly, Sonia Gandhi’s children are still enjoying theirs even in old age.” She accused Congress governments of misappropriating development funds to benefit Sonia Gandhi, asserting that this is not limited to Himachal Pradesh but is a widespread practice.
Kangana on Media and Public Perception: “Attempts to Defame Me Won’t Succeed
The outspoken actress further addressed her public image, stating that false news has been spread to discredit her, but these efforts will not stand the test of time. “The country recognizes me as the only daughter who sacrifices her own interests for the nation’s benefit,” she remarked. Kangana lamented the personal cost of her activism, noting, “I have ruined my career, move around with security, and continue to speak up for the rights of Indian daughters while standing alone against anti-national forces.”
Support for Farmers: “Farmers Must Stand Up for Their Rights
In her remarks, Kangana also voiced her support for farmers, urging them to assert their rights and seek compensation for their losses. “Farmers are the nation’s food providers and should not shy away from raising their voices,” she stated, acknowledging that her comments might stir controversy but emphasizing the importance of supporting the country’s agricultural backbone.
