After returning from Dubai, Himachal CM to stay in Chandigarh for a night

DHARAMSHALA: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu is back after a brief visit to Dubai for an investors’ summit.
The Chief Minister reached Delhi on Friday (December 15, 2023) night and inaugurated the ‘Himachal Utsav’ in national capital Delhi on Saturday morning.
As per his itinerary, Chief Minister Sukhu was to arrive at Chandigarh airport from Delhi at 3.15 pm. At 3.37 pm, he was to land at the grounds of Government Senior Secondary School in Taruwala in Paonta Sahib in Sirmaur district. Subsequently, at 3.55 pm, he would reach Puruwala to lay the foundation stone for Sirmaur Hot Bhawan.
Following the ceremonial events, Chief Minister Sukhu would grace the wedding ceremony of Congress leader Nasir Rawat’s son in Paonta Sahib. The official engagements continue as he returns to the grounds of Government Senior Secondary School, Taruwala, at 4.42 pm. From there, he is scheduled to depart for Chandigarh via a helicopter.
The chopper is expected to land at Rajendra Park, Chandigarh, at 5.10 pm. The Chief Minister will then proceed to Himachal Bhawan, where he is slated to arrive at 5.35 pm. The night stay is planned at Himachal Bhawan, Chandigarh.
The Sirmaur district administration received late notice about the Chief Minister’s visit on Thursday evening, prompting swift preparations. All arrangements in Sirmaur district have been completed to ensure a smooth and successful visit by the Chief Minister.
