Dharamshala: the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) organized a protest at the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Dharamshala, denouncing what they claim to be systemic injustices perpetrated against women under the leadership of the Mamata Banerjee administration in West Bengal.
The protesters voiced concerns over what they perceive as the unchecked exploitation and abuse of women, particularly in tribal and marginalized communities, under the governance of a female Chief Minister. They highlighted instances of alleged maltreatment and demanded immediate action to address the plight of women who have suffered.
Emphasizing the need for accountability and protection of women’s rights, ABVP activists underscored the role of political parties in safeguarding the dignity and well-being of all citizens.
