SHIMLA: As the Congress prepares to celebrate its one-year anniversary of governance in Himachal Pradesh, an exhaustive booklet chronicling 365 decisions made by the government in the past year is set to be released during the event.
The booklet will highlight the key policy measures undertaken by the state government, ranging from the implementation of the Old Pension Scheme, the launch of the Rs 650 crore start-up scheme, to the introduction of English-medium education in government schools with three guarantees. Additionally, the booklet will encompass various administrative reforms aimed at ushering in systemic changes, including the Sukhashraya Yojana, government recruitments across departments, decisions of interim courts and numerous other initiatives.
The responsibility for organising this grand celebration in Dharamshala has been entrusted to Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi, who heads the coordination committee. The event is expected to accommodate around 30,000 attendees, with extensive efforts made to bring in party workers from neighboring districts such as Chamba, Una, and Hamirpur, alongside Kangra.
Congress MLAs have been urged to mobilise 400-500 people from their respective constituencies, adding to the diverse gathering. The HRTC (Himachal Road Transport Corporation) has arranged for approximately 900 buses to transport people to the event.
The celebration marks not only the achievements of the Congress government but also serves as a platform to reaffirm its commitment to the people of Himachal Pradesh. As the party gathers for this milestone event, the comprehensive booklet aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the government’s endeavors over the past year.
