3 Punjab women arrested for chain snatchings at Kangra bus stand
Kangra: Three women from Punjab have been apprehended on charges of snatching gold chains at the Kangra bus stand.
According to police reports, the women were allegedly targeting victims by taking advantage of crowded areas at the bus stand.
The incident unfolded on Sunday evening when a woman named Neerja from Dhagwar was attempting to board a bus.
Three women standing behind her attempted to snatch her gold chain, but Neerja’s quick response and assistance from nearby locals proved saviour for her.
The suspects were detained on the spot and the Kangra police were notified.
The police confirmed that all three women had been arrested.
