28 Abhilashi University students get job offers in reputed firms during campus placement drive

MANDI: Abhilashi University, located at Chail Chowk in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh, witnessed a resounding success during its recent campus placement drive as 28 of its students secured job offers from reputed companies having their units nationwide.
Under the guidance of Chancellor Dr RK Abhilashi, the university has been facilitating placement opportunities for its final semester students across diverse disciplines. The placement drive saw participation from leading companies nationwide, offering positions to students from various academic backgrounds, including B-Pharmacy, M-Pharmacy, MSc (Agriculture) and MBA.
Alps Communication Pharmaceuticals, based in Kala Amb, handpicked top talent from the B- Pharmacy programme, selecting candidates such as Riya Rana, Shagun, Ambika Sood, Ritika Thakur, Om Prakash and Himani for the role of Quality Control Officer.
Similarly, students from the M-Pharmacy programme also clinched promising roles, with Sarju, Anuradha, Neha, Palvi, Sagar Sharma, Piyush Kanwar, Sahil Kumar and Kanika securing positions as Quality Assurance Officers. Students like Suraj, Divakar Singh, Sachin Tripathi, Abhishek Kumar, Shivam Guleria and Harsh have got offers for the role of Production Officers, reflecting the diverse career opportunities available to Abhilashi University graduates.
In the banking sector, IFM Coach selected six MBA students for key roles in prominent financial institutions, including Axis Bank, Kotak Mahindra and Yes Bank. Moreover, Harshit Gupta and Ayush from the MSc (Agriculture) stream garnered significant roles as Horticulture Consultant at Chail Hills, Solan, and as Territory Sales Officer at Maple Orgtech India Private Limited.
Shampy Duggal, Director of Admissions and Placements at Abhilashi University, emphasised the university’s commitment to fostering industry-ready graduates through tailored programmes such as mock interviews and personality development sessions. He highlighted the recent placement success of 28 students from Abhilashi University and Abhilashi College of Pharmacy, Nerchowk, who secured positions at Macleods Pharmaceuticals.
The selected students have been offered competitive annual packages ranging from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 5 lakh, underscoring the recognition of their talent and potential in the job market. Heartfelt congratulations poured in from Pro-Chancellor Dr LK Abhilashi, Vice-Chancellor Professor HS Banayal, Registrar Dr Kapil Kapoor, Chairperson of Genius Education Society Dr Narvada Abhilashi, Vice-Chairperson of Abhilashi Education Society Dr Promila Abhilashi, Secretary Narender Kumar and Dean of Pharmacy Dr DP Dahiya, celebrating the achievements of the students, faculty and the university’s placement cell.
