SHIMLA: A private bus met with an accident in Himachal Pradesh capital Shimla on Tuesday (December 26, 2023). There were about 15 passengers in the bus and all the passengers suffered minor injuries.
The accident happened near MLA Hostel on the road coming from Tutikandi crossing to the bus stand at around 10 am. The private bus was going from Shimla towards Shoghi and near MLA Hostel, it went out of control and rolled down about 100 feet off the road.
It is being said that a bike rider was overtaking and the bus driver tried to save him due to which the bus went out of control and fell off the road. The bike rider too suffered injuries in the accident and has been admitted to the Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital, Shimla.
