13 Teachers Honored with ‘Nation Builder Award’ by Rotary Club Choti Kashi Mandi

Recognizing Excellence in Education and Social Service

Mandi : In a special ceremony organized by the Rotary Club Choti Kashi Mandi, 13 teachers from government schools across the district were honored with the prestigious ‘Nation Builder Award.’ These educators were recognized not only for their commitment to providing quality education but also for their involvement in community service and outstanding contributions in shaping the holistic development of students.

 Ceremony Held at DIET Mandi

The award presentation took place at DIET Mandi, where the selected teachers were celebrated for their exemplary efforts in nurturing the all-round development of schoolchildren. The event was graced by the presence of Naresh Sharma, Principal of DIET, who attended as the chief guest.

Addressing the gathering, Naresh Sharma said, “Teachers are the light that dispels the darkness in our lives, guiding us towards knowledge and the right path. They play a vital role in the nation’s development, as the students they educate today will become the leaders and builders of our country’s future. Teachers hold a unique and irreplaceable place in society, and their contributions should always be remembered.”

 Teachers’ Role in Nation Building

In his keynote speech, Sharma further emphasized that teachers shape individuals by imparting education and values, leading their students toward success in life. “Students must respect their teachers and follow the path shown by them, excelling in the field of education and bringing pride to their parents and teachers. It is through the guidance of teachers that ordinary people can reach great heights and make meaningful contributions to society,” he added.

 Rotary Club President Highlights Teachers’ Contributions

Anupama Singh, President of Rotary Club Choti Kashi Mandi, expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to honor such dedicated educators. “It is a day of immense pride and privilege for us to recognize these remarkable individuals, who, through their wisdom and knowledge, lead students on the right path. Teachers illuminate our lives with knowledge and help shape the future of our society,” Singh said.

Anupama, herself a teacher, urged students to respect their teachers and strive for academic excellence, thus bringing honor to their families and educators. “Teachers play a critical role in molding the lives of their students by imparting knowledge and directing them toward successful futures,” she added.

 Teachers Share Experiences and Dedication

During the event, several of the honored teachers shared their experiences and expressed how their greatest reward comes from seeing their students succeed in life. They extended their best wishes on the occasion of Teacher’s Day and reaffirmed their commitment to the noble cause of nation-building through education.

Recognizing Community Leaders

In addition to honoring the teachers, Rotary Club Choti Kashi Mandi also recognized two prominent figures from Mandi city – Manohar Lal and Anil Sharma. In his address, Manohar Lal congratulated the teachers and stated, “Honoring teachers is akin to honoring the nation. A country that fails to respect its teachers cannot progress. Teachers are the foundation upon which the future of the nation rests.”

Rotary Club’s Commitment to Education
